Saturday Alumni Picnic - Hermann Park

What: Alumni Picnic
Where: Hermann Park (at the playground/splashpad)
Time: 10am-1pm
o PLAYGROUND - for big and little
o SPLASHPAD - bring suits or clothes they can get wet / watershoes /towels / etc.
o TRAIN RIDES - $2 per person
o FOOD: chik-fil-a nuggets – lemonade – water – snacks will be available.
Also bring: Chairs and/or blankets if you are local and can. Those of you
from out of town, we will round up some extras!

Directions
o If you are staying at the hotel, you can take the monorail – it runs every 12
minutes on Sat. morning. It is four blocks from the hotel (you can walk or take
a shuttle) and there is a “ZOO” drop off station very close to the park.

o If you are driving, you can park in the zoo parking lot and walk along the trails
or park in a new parking lot right across from the Museum of Natural Science and
follow the train tracks away from the museum to the park.

o The playground area is located at Fannin and MacGregor in Hermann Park. There is lots of shade and a public restroom convenient for us to use. We will
have a “WESTBURY HIGH SCHOOL” banner hanging – so look for it !
